About Us

Owners Michele Connolly, MHS, PT and Brian Edgerly, PT met back in the mid 1990s while working in an outpatient orthopedic private practice. They realized they shared common philosophies in their treatment approaches to the full spectrum of orthopedic conditions resulting from athletics, motor vehicle accidents, and work injuries. That philosophy is simple...a focused hands-on approach targeted on the cause of the problem to achieve lasting functional restoration; not just the symptom relief. Michele and Brian's goal is to have each and every patient play an active role in his or her recovery plan.

In 1997, their dream became a reality and West Windsor - Plainsboro Physical Therapy Center opened its doors to the community. Brian and Michele are grateful to the surrounding communities for their support over the past 14 years.

Michele and Brian are founding members of the New Jersey Society of Independent Physical Therapists (NJSIPT). The mission of the Society is to advocate for, promote, and protect the independent practice of Physical Therapy in the State of New Jersey. To fulfill this mission, the Society investigates and utilizes all legal, regulatory, and professional means to do so. Membership in the Society is limited exclusively to PT owners of private practices. The Society believes that limiting ownership of physical therapy services to licensed physical therapists will protect the integrity of these professional services, and ensure accountability for them to consumers.

Michele and Brian are also members of the Physical Therapy Provider Network (PTPN). PTPN is America's premier network of independent rehabilitation providers. Established in 1985, PTPN has built a track record for delivering comprehensive, cost-effective and high quality outpatient rehabilitation services. Membership in PTPN is limited to PT owners and operators in independent practice. All practices must meet strict credentialing standards that exceed NCQA requirements; have all relevant licenses, Medicare certification, continuing education requirements, and on-site inspections.

Both Michele and Brian are involved personally with community services. Michele continues to be active in the East Windsor Regional School District PTO at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Brian is involved with the Men's ministry and the He Cares, We Cares ministry at Princeton Alliance Church.
